“I’ve learned from Dyad that secrets are power.”
Let’s face it: clones are pretty darn cool. What makes them even cooler? When they are all played by Tatiana Maslany (duh!)
Orphan Black follows street-smart Sarah Manning whose life changes dramatically after witnessing the suicide of a woman who looks just like her. After assuming the stranger’s identity, Sarah is thrust into a kaleidoscopic mystery as she realises the dizzying truth – she is a clone. The show seamlessly intertwines sci-fi elements with authentic, three-dimensional characters that will keep you intrigued from start to finish.
Much like previous seasons, season three goes above and beyond, offering more twists and turns than a dish of spaghetti. After the scandalous discovery of Project Castor, this season sees Sarah and her sister clones battle the top-secret military project producing these lethal male clones.
After three seasons it’s still easy to forget that Tatiana Maslany plays all of the clones. Beyond using different accents, she gives each clone their own unique mannerisms. Seriously, throw all the awards Maslany’s way because she truly is a force to be reckoned with.
If there’s just one reason to watch this show, it’s Maslany!
(Slay Tatiana, Slay!)
